First of all, congratulations! You’ve found your soul mate, and you’re going to spend the rest of your life with your best friend by your side. As a wedding photographer (and a hopeless romantic), I’m always so excited to be part of something so special!
And now you get to plan your wedding day! It’s a crazy, exhilarating, confusing, fun, whirlwind experience planning your wedding. But don’t worry, weddings are my thing. And if you choose to have me as your photographer, I’ll be with you every step of the way! I ADORE shooting weddings and couples are my absolute favourite thing to photograph!

My style is very relaxed and creative. I love to capture magical moments naturally and use a reportage/documentary style; I blend into the background and shoot the true story of your day as unobtrusively as possible (although I'm more than happy to include group shots of your nearest and dearest and tend to nip off with you for a few fun bride and groom portraits if this is something you'd like to do!).
Those hilarious, emotional, calm-before-the-storm hours getting ready with your closest friends. The first time you see each other at the ceremony, hearts skipping a beat, butterflies in your stomachs. Your first kiss, your first dance. And all the little moments too. The hand-squeezes under the table, the stolen glances, the secret kisses. They’re all the moments you’ll want to relive again and again, because they’re what’ll make your day so special. And they’re the moments I want to capture for you!
I want my photography to reflect you as much as possible. I usually like to arrange a pre-wedding consultation via a Zoom call (or phone if you'd prefer!) so we can chat through all of your exciting plans at a time convenient for you before the big day! I'll also send you a questionnaire to complete as you finalise details so that I can perfectly weave the photography into your day!
All your high resolution, hand edited digital images are presented on a USB stick presented in a beautiful box (with some prints!). You will also receive access to a password-protected online gallery; here you will get unlimited downloads so sharing images with your guests for free is nice and easy!
I particularly adore anything whimsical and wild, so if you’re planning a festival/boho/quirky/non-traditional wedding then please do ge t in touch!

engagement session
An engagement session is a perfect way to capture that glow and to get to know each other before the big day. These usually take place outdoors where we can frolic about in nature and have some fun! I adore a wild adventure so if you want to climb a mountain (well, perhaps a big hill!) or splash about in a waterfall, I'll all in! These can be booked with a wedding (at a discounted rate), or as a separate shoot. More info about these in my 'Wedding Welcome Guide' which you receive if you book me as your wedding photographer!

FAQ s
The amount of photos will be dependent of your day, but a guideline is a minimum of 700 (usually more!) photos for a full day. I always aim to capture as much as possible and all of the details to tell the best story of your day. The only time I’m not photographing is when everyone is eating at the wedding breakfast.
The contractual time is up to 8 weeks, but this can vary depending on the time of year etc! At the start of the year, it’s usually quicker, whereas in peak season (April-October) it takes longer and is likely to be closer to the 8 weeks.
Absolutely! If you would like some formal photos of friends and family then we shall certainly grab some! As mentioned earlier in this guide, I always recommend keeping them to a minimum though as they can eat into your reception time and take you away form quality time with guests. The longer I’m snapping formal photos, the less candid coverage of your reception I’m able to capture!

All wedding packages include travel within 50 miles of Bristol (BS5). I'm more than happy to travel further afield in the South West though! I charge 45p per mile for anything over the 50 miles, and usually require an overnight stay somewhere nearby if it's a long journey! Sometimes 2 nights of accommodation is required depending on how far away your venue is, and how much coverage you're having.
